Through MAX, AppLovin’s monetization solution, we aim to create a safe and positive experience for all users. Our Policies for Publishers set clear rules for content monetized through our services. We review the content you seek to monetize to ensure compliance with our requirements.
General Best Practices
Follow these general guidelines to help you avoid policy violations and account issues.
Focus on High-Quality Content
- Your content must be live in an official app store. We do not allow content hosted by other third parties or direct APK downloads.
- Your content must be high quality and engaging, not just a collection of links, ads, or other low-quality content.
- We do not allow explicit, violent, hateful, or offensive content.
Double Check Your Integrations and Implementation
- Before you begin the integration process, ensure you understand and comply with our privacy and data sharing requirements.
- Use our testing tools to validate your integrations and update to the latest SDK to take advantage of improvements and bug fixes.
- Maintain an accurate app-ads.txt file that includes our line items and those of your network partners.
- Regularly check our support documentation to ensure you meet our technical requirements.
Ensure Traffic Quality
- Do not attempt to inflate impressions, clicks, or requests, and never source traffic from methods like pop-ups, forced redirects, or bots.
- Take steps to help you identify fraudulent behavior, avoid invalid activity, and maintain traffic quality.
Promote a Positive User Experience
- We do not allow deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content, experiences, or behavior.
- Ads must be visible (not hidden, stacked, out of page, or outside of your application) and placed reasonably and oriented correctly within the content.
Maintain User Trust
- Address negative feedback to cultivate trust and ensure long-term value of your content.
The Content Review Process
Our systems use a mix of automated tools and manual review. When you seek to monetize content through MAX, our tools check the content for compliance. If we find policy violations, your account may face restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban.
What do I do if my account gets suspended?
